My Approach
As an Indigenous-informed trauma therapist, I blend clinical expertise with Indigenous wisdom to foster holistic healing. My approach honors the deep impacts of colonization and intergenerational trauma while celebrating the resilience found in Indigenous identities, community, and land-based traditions.
Rooted in relationality, cultural safety, and respect for sovereignty, I co-create therapy that centers your lived experience, cultural values, and ancestral strengths. Through narrative, ceremony, somatic practices, and connection to land, I offer a culturally affirming, strength-based space for healing and reconnection.
I’m a holistic, eclectic therapist who tailors each session to your unique journey. Together, we explore core beliefs, process trauma, and move beyond self-criticism—empowering you to live with authenticity and courage. My passion for somatic work helps clients understand and release emotional and physical pain, nurturing lasting change and collective wellness.
My Story
I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to move beyond traumatic events, and I also know that healing is possible. Having experienced profound loss myself—including the passing of my oldest child—I believe my lived experience allows me to support others through anticipatory and complex grief, which can sometimes require reinventing one’s sense of self after such loss.
With a background in social work, I am dedicated to helping clients clarify their goals in ways that align with their deepest values and dreams, while also exploring the barriers that may be holding them back from living their fullest lives. I have experience working with women impacted by intimate partner violence, and I am committed to helping individuals move beyond the fear that keeps them in difficult situations. Together, we can work on developing healthier coping strategies and stronger boundaries.
Supporting others as they move past what holds them back gives me a deep sense of purpose. I believe that easing the emotional burdens people carry not only benefits individuals, but also strengthens our community as a whole. By fostering more secure and connected attachment styles—regardless of what we may have learned in the past—we help each other grow into our best selves. Everyone deserves unconditional self-love and the opportunity to learn self-forgiveness. It is truly an honour to walk alongside others on their journey to healing.
